Apple, please…
please, please, pretty please, remove all the speakers from all your devices.
your astronomical success is being misused by people who blare their devices outside of their homes.

also…
someday, maybe…
. “discontinue” the iPhone.
someday, maybe then…
. start the iRemote without speakers, camera, or recording.
. slim it slightly to discourage doomscrolling apps. NO SPEAKERS! apps can shift towards giving bite-sized amounts of information, not mindlessly addicting too much information and misinformation.
. that iRemote opens a pathway to a better hardware eco-system.
. have the iRemote capable of microphone capabilities.
. have the headphones and AirPods connect in a way that allows for group experiences that are not disturbing to others (e.g. concerts that are quiet).
. produce a headset or glasses for phone calls, or the VR set that already exists in a stackable format that can go from lightweight with minimal capability to the heavyweight version with maximum capabilities.
. have the iRemote control the HomePods where Siri is the chief of staff for any other AI agent and Siri can kill or stop them immediately upon request or upon Apple’s internal framework/decision/brilliance.
someday, maybe also…
. shift the Apple Watch so it’s a small square (iClip?) that clips onto a set of glasses to function as a camera, thus minimizing the need for a heavy video camera to film movies, etc. the iRemote controls its record on/off capabilities.
special thanks to Tim Cook for being the most all star Chief Executive Officer of my life. I hope you have a long, long, extra long vacation of rest, reflection, and enjoyment after you step down, before you get back to doing whatever is most meaningful to you. many thanks for anyone that has ever worked at Apple, it has been mind-blowing to see what humans are capable of when they work as a team. the iPhone has been the greatest invention of my era, and nothing can ever top it for me, though I can enjoy whatever else comes after if it’s good enough.
finally, please let me know if I can patent a few software things for Apple on a limited contract too to discourage the AI slop that is wasting resources…
