Diet Goals
I am trying to get to whole plant-based proteins (not the processed stuff) 5 times a week, one meat protein once a week, one fish protein once a week, and enough vegetables, fruits, and whole grains for the rest of my food.
This is based on my doctor’s (thanks!) recommendations.
I am experimenting with eating a certain amount of protein and fat early in my day for breakfast and for satiety. Then maybe like oatmeal and fruit for lunch. Then a salad, a little cheese, and some carbs for dinner.
Then maybe I can update this note next year after I see how this goes for me, as I hope my health hit rock bottom at the end of last year (2025) and I will get back to into my prime by the end of this year (2026) and maintain it for at least 30 years.
